What is your minimum order quantity?

HSS Products require a minimum order quantity of 10 or £25, whichever is met first.

Most other products typically have a minimum order quantity of 3. If your order does not meet these requirements or there is a specific minimum quantity for a specific item, we will communicate this with you before purchase.

What materials can our cutting tools work with?

Our cutting tools are designed to work with various materials:

 

High-Speed Steel (HSS):

  • Versatile, suitable for soft metals, plastics, and wood. Also suitable for some composite materials.

HSS-Cobalt (HSS-Co):

  • Enhanced for higher temperatures, effective for composite materials and tougher alloys.

Solid Carbide:

  • Ideal for machining harder materials like composites, ceramics, and hardened steels.

Diamond Grit:

  • Exceptionally hard, suitable for abrasive materials like ceramics, composites, and abrasive stones.

Polycrystalline Diamond (PCD):

  • Extremely hard and long-lasting, effective for abrasive materials including carbon fibre composites, metals, and laminates.
